The New Year

January 6th, 2009

Along with the New Year of 2009 comes great excitement.  There is much going on all over the world.  In the US we have many events, not all being technologicaly related.  In January alone we have the MacWorld Expo that happened today and a new president will be sworn into office within the next few weeks.

As I have heard from some of my friends one of the "geeky" New Year resolutions is to get organized on your computer.  That is what I am going to do.  Along with getting organized I am going to start blogging more.  I already have a few ideas of what to blog about.

Stay tuned for there is more to come this week and the weeks following.

Recession Risk

December 5th, 2008

I got an email from my dad and included was a link to this video.  I can't agree more than I do.  Watch this video.  It clearly tells us that WE DON'T SAVE OUR MONEY. We need to save or else America will go into a recession.  Be smart people and don't buy things you can't afford.

Ben Stein says it perfectly at 4:28.  A nuclear war has hit the financials.

The party is over in the United States.  We need to save money and start living within our means.

Roland AX-7

November 1st, 2008

As many of my friends know, I want to make a keytar.  I am very inspired by music right now and would love to have a keytar.  The problem is, the AX-7 is going for $1,500 on eBay.  That is why I have to make one.  Here is a little sample of what I could do if I had this amazing piece of equipment.  If you could donate one, I would be very grateful.  Just comment back or contact me via the contact page and I would love to get in touch with you.

Everyone that uses the internet regularly for entertainment or even for news has come across the YouTube hit Chocolate Rain by Tay Zonday. I thought it was funny the first time I watched it but know it is kind of boring. I give him credit creating these songs and posting them on YouTube but by no means is he an internet celebrity, which he thinks he is.

One of my friends showed me this video on YouTube. John Mayer inspires me to become a better musician and I couldn't help share one of my favorite musicians feelings on a song when we share that same view. Be sure you have watched at least a few minutes of the original Chocolate Rain.

Enjoy.

This is my official entry for the Carmex, Share the Tingle contest.  It is a little rough.  I ran out of time so please don't be to harsh.  I originally planned on filming it at home and then once I moved down to Murray I had to change up a lot of the details.  That made it really hard and because of the time crunch I had to settle with some shots I didn't really like.  Don't expect too much.  I am open to all suggestions.
